Sabre seals inhabit cold coastal waters. They are intelligent patriarchal pack hunters. Guntar White-Tooth slayed the patriarch of the sabre seals in the age of the Great Uniter, after his clan was decimated by the seals. Sabre seal ivory is extremely dense, and large specimens have been used to fashion blades and ornaments.
